Spanish term or phrase: el material se sirve micronizado
The document I am translating describes the materials obtained from a quarry and it says that "el material se sirve micronizado". I suppose this refers to the fact that the material's size can only be measured in micron, but I do not know for sure if the verb "micronize" can be used in English or if I should translate this sentence as "the material appears micron-sized". Another thing I do not have clear is "se sirve": do you think it means that the company crushed the mineral to offer it with this size or that it has "naturally" this size??
I feel confused ;-)

material is micronized
Explanation:
mi·cron·ize (mkr-nz)
tr.v. mi·cron·ized, mi·cron·iz·ing, mi·cron·iz·es
To reduce to particles that are only a few microns in diameter.

A continuación te ofrezco una referencia donde se explica el proceso "manual" de micronizado:

The DICY curing agent used herein comprises between about 2.0 and 20.0% of the weight of epoxy solids in the dispersion. Preferably, between about 2.0 and 13.0 wt % is used. The DICY that is useful in this invention is micronized before it is combined with other components of the resin system. "Micronized", as used throughout this specification means that the material is treated so as to render the number average particle size thereof between about 1 and 50 microns. Preferably, the micronized DICY has a number average particle size of less than 5 microns. This micronized DICY can be commercially obtained from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc and is sold as AMICURE.RTM. CG-1400.
