N/A Explanation: With respect, but if you are hoping to have the whole text translated I suggest you find yourself a translator to do so. I consider this to be too long to ask for help with in this forum. |

There is usually no formal midday "comida," due to the absence of most of the family memb Explanation: The "comida," or midday lunch, is an important part of Spanish culture and is capped off by the afternoon siesta. It is an opportunity for the family to come together and share a meal and maintain ties with one another before they go back to work, or school, or wherever. However, these days the formal midday "comida" is done less frequently, due to both the mother and the father having jobs, and the "comida" being served at school so the kids don't go home any more for lunch. But you still do see families, or at least parts of families, coming together occasionally to have lunch ... the family members who can show up for lunch, do, and it's very informal, eating in front of the television or whatever. This paragraph is trying to summarize eating customs in Spain. Cheers, Mary |

see below Explanation: It isn't customary to have a heavyset meal during midafternoon since most family members are not present (or at home). I hope this helps. P.S. As the moderator in this forum, I would suggest you try to focus your questions more concisely. When providing this much information, it is highly recommended that you annotate the text and state that it is for context purposes _only_. Thank you. |
