Traganum moquini


Explanation:
I found a flower called
bala de cañon, but it's not the same but I wonder if balancon doesn't come from it.
You can find out what the Latin words mean to provide a translation and keep the Latin name in parenthesis. Since this species is only found in the Canary Islands, it could very well be there is no standard translation. If you look at the bush, the little balls growing on it, do look like little cannon balls.
