This appears in a defendant's brief filed in Argentina:

"En ese caso, la Corte afirmó que existe jurisdicción intencional argentina cuando la obligación jurídica tuvo cualquier lugar de cumplimiento en el país, a menos de que una solución convencional determine un foro competente (SIC) (fallo N° XXX, CS XX.XX.XXXX), situación que se da en autos."

Is it just "(sic)," or does "SIC" stand for something here?

Explanation:
I would be inclined to think it is the initials of something, as (sic) is always written in lower case, and often in italics. Also, I can't see any error to which they are referring. I found this reference, but can't get into it.
