"it's considered to be above the 10% average... Explanation: ...although -as it also happens outside the penitentiary environment- there are notable geographical differences". I think the problem is that 'reaaaallyawfullest' of all words: "extrapenitenciariamente", it's almost of German dimensions and I'm not even too sure it does exist at all. Anyway, there goes my version of it, but then I'm a simple creature....cheers :) |

all nicely rearranged! Explanation: ....IS CALCULATED TO BE ABOVE 10% ON AVERAGE,BUT /SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES OCCUR GEOGRAPHICALLY/THERE ARE SIGNIDICANT GEOGRAPHICAL DIFFERENCES/ BOTH IN AND OUTSIDE THE PRISONS. IN SPAIN.... (se considera superior al 10% de media, si bien existen notables diferencias geográficas, igual que ocurre extrapenitenciariamente ) I HAVE CHANGED THE ORDER (1) TO MAKE IT MORE MANAGEABLE eNGLISH and (2) TO PUT THE IMPORTANT FACT FIRST - THAT THERE ARE GEOGRAPHICAL DIFFERENCES (it kinda follows on that these geographical differences will be reflected both inside and outside the prisons) |

This is how I would translate the entire sentence: Explanation: "The predominant infection rate for HIV in European prisons is considered above the 10% average, even though a similar rate occurs outside of prisons, there are noticeable geographic differences. In Spain the HIV-positive inmate rate is over 20%." Regards. Good luck. Luis Luis |
