Evidently *Gestalt* is sometimes written as *Gestal* is Spanish (an application of the "write what you hear" school of orthography...).
Here is an example of this:
"la totalidad es mas que la suma de sus partes, teoría de la Gestal"
And, of course, the very essence of *Gestalt* theory is: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and a kind of synergy.
