Pare cocinarlos:

Se pone a cocer un recipiente con abundante agua fría, suficiente para cubrir los percebes, con 80 gramos de sal por litro de agua (esta es una de las claves). Cuando empiece a hervir se añaden los percebes y se espera a que vuelva a hervir para retirarlo del fuego. Se vierten los percebes en una fuente, tapándolos rápidamente con un paño para mantener el calor. Ya están listos para servir. Los percebes de calidad son los de cuerpo corto, apretado y grueso.

Ok ok...I was trying to avoid barnacles. Just sounds like junk on the side of a boat to me :) But goose-neck makes it sound nicer somehow. Thanks for the help!
