Spanish term or phrase: bancos insurgentes
From a pie chart illustrating the market share of various banks. Several big-name banks are included, but "insurgentes" is shown as occupying 24% of the market. Document is Mexican.

Could this be so simple as "insurgent banks"? And what, precisely, does that mean?

Thanks in advance!

English translation:emerging banks/emerging market banks
Explanation:
I very much doubt whether 'insurgent' or 'rebel' would be appropriate in a banking context, so on the basis of the information available I'm going to suggest 'emerging'. The increasing importance of emerging markets, and particularly Latin America ones, is a hot issue in the banking world at the moment, so it wouldn't be at all surprising to find a pie chart originating from Mexico documenting the comparative market share of emerging market banks compared to the big-name US and European banks (although emerging market banks could also include local subsidaries of the major global banks).

Banks on Insurgente´ Avenue

Explanation:
Avenida de los Insurgentes (English: Insurgents' Avenue), sometimes known simply as Insurgentes, is the longest avenue in Mexico City and said to be the longest in the world with a length of 28.8 km ¿recuerdo muchos bancos en esa avenida? ¿sera el wall street del DF?
