Spanish term or phrase: compensado
I have a list of frozen beef exports
One item on the list says:

carcasa 1/2 res [there is a mark after res - could be period, comma, or stray] 1/4 compensado sin hueso.

I am completely baffled by "compensado".

Thanks,

'compensado' has the meaning of 'redeemed'

Explanation:
Given the 1/2 and the 1/4 and given the 'redeemed' meaning, it is undoubtedly something like....
Half Carcass, boneless equivalent 1/4... nevertheless I feel that there is a term for this, but right now it escapes me...like 'recuperated'(Spanglish?), 'recovered', possible 'yield'....thus....1/2 Carcass, yielding 1/4... You will know how to fit the info in within the context you're working in.
