Spanish term or phrase: vive sola con ella
xxxxxxx y la niña wwwwwww, que es nieta y vive sola con ella, residen en ......
English translation:XX and the child ZZZ, who is her GRANDDAUGHTER....
and lives with her in....
Please niece : sobrina
nieta : granddaughter!
Then, you can't say "lives alone" since this woman lives with the child. So, it's better (in my opinion) to translate it as "lives with her"
Hope it helps!
