Official School Transcript Explanation: Although the original uses "certificación", in the U.S. there is no such procedure to "certify" an already official transcript. "Official" means that the registrar has stamped the transcript, and that it has been sent in a stamped, and sealed envelope. That's as "official" as a school transcript can be in the U.S. No matter if it's a university transcript or a high school/elementary transcript, you would use "school transcript". I should know, I paid almost $200 last year to have my "official school transcripts" sent to all the graduate schools I applied to. Hope this information helps! |
