Registry of Births, Marriages and Deaths - Second Clerk's Office Explanation: Registro Civil is either "Civil Registry" or in British terms "Registry of Births Marriages and Deaths" Oficialía is the Registry Clerk's Office, as in Oficialía Mayor "Chief Clerk's Office" Clerk is not a humble wage slave here, any more than "Secretario del Consejo de Administación" - "Secretary to the Board" I haven't looked up any references, they don't seem very necessary! |
