I know what sobretechos means but don't know how to say it in English - it's the one piece tin roofing you'd see down there on houses, barnyard areas for shade, etc. Here they sell it for camping, etc. Found a central american website that sells them but they translate it as sobre ceilings. excess fallow land Explanation: It's part of the agrarian reform act where campesinos can claim title to excess fallow land held by large landowners. "Ociosidad", as Heathcliff has correctly stated, does mean "idleness". Land becomes idle. or fallow, because of the migratory nature of the Honduran agricultural system, where land is farmed until it is depleted of nutrients, and then left fallow until it recovers.
