En un artículo sobre la evaluación de soluciones de biopolímeros en un sistema de geometría anular:

"Como se indico previamente, se espera que las soluciones con mayor viscosidad presenten mayor capacidad de suspensión y transporte de sólidos. Sin embargo, no basta con asegurar una alta concentración de polímero y por lo tanto una alta viscosidad para analizar el **comportamiento del fluido ante la fase sólida**. Viscosidades extremadamente altas tienden a producir un efecto de disminución del número de Reynolds, que puede llevar a una depresión en la capacidad de suspensión del fluido ya que, para mantener un adecuado transporte de sólidos se requiere de un flujo turbulento donde predomine la contribución cinética del flujo, mientras que en régimen laminar predomina el efecto de las fuerzas viscosas del fluido."

Mi problema es con la preposición en inglés. Fluido = fluid, drilling fluid. Fase sólida = solid phase.
