Just a quick note, for what it\'s worth.... \"The bed in which we were born\" is a perfectly acceptable translation of the phrase \"el lecho en el que fuimos engendrados\", but we\'re dealing with a Peruvian Poem and I think the translation asks more colour and feeling, hence my suggested alternatives. Any comments appreciated, especially from the asker :)
