Spanish term or phrase: se siente cerca..
Gracias!

It is a place where life is richly lived.

Explanation:
Taking the entire context into account, I think the phrase conveys something more than "feeling at home."

There are three aspects of the place that are mentioned:
1. Its ample spaces (i.e., room to breathe, to roam).
2. The warmth of its people (so, feeling at home; feeling welcome).
3. Its art and good taste (so, an esthetically pleasing environment agreeable to the visual senses and stimulating both intellectually and spiritually).

For these reasons, and allowing for a certain amount of license appropriate to material of this nature, I think my suggestion conveys the underlying idea being expressed here.

Suerte.
