Spanish term or phrase: anajamiento
This is a word that I found in a book by Gloria Anzaldua but there is nothing in the dictionary or online. I wonder if it could be a regionalism.

English translation:aging, getting old
Explanation:
It appears to be a misspelling of añajamiento which in turn seems to be a variant spelling of añejamiento - and it rather fits into the context.

Explanation:
It seems to me that this could be a misprint for "enajenamiento". The context seems to fit as it can mean:
1. f. Acción y efecto de enajenar o enajenarse.

2. f. Distracción, falta de atención, embeleso.

3. f. Der. enajenación mental.
