Spanish term or phrase: Hacer mujer
Hello everybody,

I am trying to translate a text from Spanish into English (UK) which has the following sentence:

"No encuentro un hombre que me haga mujer"

Does anyone know if there is any idiom or expression in English which has the same meaning as "hacer mujer"?

Thank you very much.

neutral  Marpier: Sometimes "hacer mujer" can mean loose the virginity, but I don't know if it's like that here, because I don't know the context....

-> Hi Marpier, it might but wouldn't that suggest in this context that she can't find a man who wants to sleep with her? Doesn't seem likely!
