de esos que se usaban para no dañar el parquet. the ones people wore so as not to spoil/scratch the parquet flooring when walking
I thought about using slippers. But it's a strip cartoon and there's a drawing. What do you suggest? thanks in advance

Explanation:
here is a video of a man doing floor exercises using furniture glide pads. In this case the glide pads are made for the legs of settees etc. to protect wooden floors, but the principle would be the same for a person wearing them.

Explanation:
Hi! Here in Argentina the "patines" within the context you have described are not made of carton, but are generally made of wool, in the form of a rectangle. The idea is that you step on them and polish the parquet floor while walking round the house. It is not something you would "wear", but step onto. My suggestion of 'floor flannel' is only an idea, not a proper tem, But it maight get you closer to the meaning.
