Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / Film and literature
Spanish term or phrase: Congress of Black Novel and Film Noir.
I just would like to know if this translation sounds right:

for "IV Congreso de Novela y Cine Negro."
or is it better ? or ?

The last sounds clumsy. It is a congress dealing with both arts where i worked and i want to include it in my English resume.

Thank you!

English translation:Congreso de Novela y Cine Negro
Explanation:
Black Novel = Novela Negra
Film Noir = Cine Negro

Fallo mio!

Así pues, para inglés:

- Film Noir esta bien

- Novela Negra = Detective Fiction/Novel

crime thrillers and film noir

Explanation:
No, it doesn't. "Black novel" is not right, I think "crime thrillers" sounds best. You should leave the original as well, but I think a translation is needed, as how will people know what the congress is about otherwise?

Film Noir and Crime Literature Conference

Explanation:
