Spanish to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / literature | | Spanish term or phrase: A las órdenes | | it's talking about someone who is A LAS ORDENES DEL SARGENTO X (military speech). Would it be something like UNDER SARGENT X'S ORDERS/COMMAND?? It's a title, so it should sound like one. thanks!!!!!!!! |
| | | under Sargeant X's command | Explanation: Every instinct tells me that when you are in the military, you are under the command of your superior officer.....
usually, this is at a higher level...but I think
"to be under the command of" is the correct way to say this...in the same way, you would say: My commanding officer is X |
