Spanish term or phrase: despiece
I am translating a book description, and one paragraph begins as follows:

I know what "despiece" means when it comes to images, but what is it in this case, and in particular when followed by "aparte de"?
A "closer look" (like the exploded view detailed view of an image)? But then this "aparte de" doesn't make sense.

At first I wasn't sure, but now I'm convinced. The term appears a few more times further down in the text (e.g. it says "the chapter concludes with a [despiece]). And since there are no drawings in the book, it must be an appendix. A big thanks to you and everyone else.

(separate or independent) analysis

Explanation:
Hola María,
Otra idea.
