Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Printing & Publishing / thermal printer software and hardware
Spanish term or phrase: tabla de calentamientos
"Se han de entrar los cinco valores con los márgenes siguientes:

1. Contrastes entre 0 y 9. Seleccionan un rango de valores de la tabla de calentamientos."

If it helps, elsewhere in the document this usage occurs:

"Esta FPGA implementa ... las máquinas de estados y timers que se encargan de serializar los datos de salida al cabezal y de generar las señales de calentamiento del mismo."

I'm sure if I understood thermal printers a little better I'd "get" it. I'm inclined to say "heat values" but they seem really to be "heating values" or "warm-up values" or some such, but I can't find any credible documentary support for these terms. Anyone know for sure?

English translation:warm-up chart
Explanation:
Deborah, please find attached a link to a HP printer. It is both in Spanish and in English and for "tiempo de calentamiento" they use "warm-up time". In your context I think they are talking about a value range of the warm-up chart.

Good Luck!!
