The same occurs within sexual relationships which, in excess, causes spite and objectification. Treating a person like a sexual object is the equivalent of thinking of them only as a thing. The negative result of taking sensible pleasures to the extreme is called "destruction"

agree  Benjamin A Flores: but with "sexual" before it, if not it becomes a sociological term. http://parenethical.com/phil140sp11/category/group-01/

bluntness, ravage...

Explanation:
estragamiento es destrozo, destruccion, causar estragos, devastar....
tambien hartazgo, empacho, embotamiento...

in english: ravage, destruction, but also desolation, devastation, but also bluntness (if you take the spanish embotamiento),
In this case " The negative result of taking sensible pleasures to the extreme is called bluntness
In this context the effect of taking pleasures to the extreeme at the long range produces bluntness
