duplicate Explanation: As the field name I would simply use "duplicate". For "cuando la finca cuenta con un duplicado", you might say "when the property has a duplicate number", or to make it clearer, "when the number of the property duplicates that of another property". The point is that these fields refer to the elements of the property registration code in Costa Rica. Very occasionally, two different properties in the same province are assigned the same number by mistake. When this happens, a letter is entered in the "DUPLICADO" field to distinguish them. See the following explanation: "Número de finca o matrícula: Ocho dígitos que constituyen el número correlativo que correspondió al inmueble en el momento de su inscripción. 1-00123456-A-F-001 Duplicado: Pueden ir seguidos de una letra en aquellos casos en que por error se haya asignado el mismo número de matrícula a otro inmueble en la misma provincia, por lo cual se le asigna una letra a la finca duplicada para diferenciar entre los 2.
