Could someone please help me with the two words in caps at the end?

"Del registro espectro-cinético, se obtuvieron para cada muestra un vector que estaba constituido por un total de 7686 valores de absorbancia (61 espectros ¥126 valores de longitud de onda). Este vector contenía los diferentes espectros registrados, ordenados por tiempo creciente de reacción. En todos los modelos, la matriz de datos fue centrada previamente a su procesamiento.

The greater the portion of the explained variance, the stronger the model and the more likely it is to approach real life (e.g., a biological event).
