Hello,
Could anyone tell me which drug the slang word platita refers to?

Tenia ganas de fumarme una platita.
The context before and after does not give any clues.

Thanks

neutral  philgoddard: I agree, but we need the English slang - "smoke some heroin" would be a bit weak.

fumar una platita
chase the dragon

Explanation:
Anademajomar is correct, but here's my suggested translation.

The most common slang term for smoking heroin is chasing the dragon.
