Explanation:
I'm comfortable with "social fabric" and "social capital," but I've never really found a good equivalent for "articulation" in English, and I'm sorry to report that the international organizations do use it a lot.

agree  Paulo César Mendes MD, CT: IMO the terms "articulation" and "social capital" imply the possibility of reverting economic trends through political action. Therefore, I think "articulation" is a good equivalent: the meaning is the same as in "political articulation" in such contexts
