disagree  Angel_7: Perhaps I should clarify. Ad hoc actually means "devised for the purpose at hand ", i.e. it is not ongoing support

neutral  Cinnamon Nolan: I think the meaning is "specific", that is, support to different NGOs for particular/specific projects, as indicated in the text.
41 mins
-> To my reading it's "timely assistance" for specific projects.

agree  Claudia Hoepelman: it could be either 'specific' or 'oportuno'...there's no way to tell from this side of the screen IMO

ad hoc aid/relief/support

Explanation:
"puntual" can mean every so often, so I think "ad hoc" might be appropriate, i.e. ad hoc aid, ad hoc support etc.

Not sure it actually means "timely" here

sporadic support/aid

Explanation:
Not sure if it doesn't mean puntual in the sense as when the need arises, which is obviously not what I've offered as the translation. Timely doesn't really express that, either.

Explanation:
just a thought, if the meaning implied is "specific". However, I don't oppose to the "timely" version, as this could be another possible meaning here.

Good luck to you.
