agree  Deborah Lockett: perfect, and for "competencias" I would suggest "my remit"
5 mins
  -> Thanks, Deborah. "Remit" is another option. I always thought "does not fall within," but that's a bit less positive.

agree  Lesley Clarke
9 mins
  -> Thanks very much, Leslie.

agree  Muriel Vasconcellos: Just right. I might go with 'area of expertis' without the 'practice'. (BTW, 'remit' is not in my vocabulary!)
14 mins
  -> Thanks, Muriel. The 'practice' was there to cover 'actuación.' 'Remit' comes close to 'bailiwick' - but it could be used if understood by the reader.

agree  Jennifer Adcock: spot on as always, Jenni :)

  -> Thanks very much, Jennifer. Have a good day.

agree  Altogringo: great phrasing
