Spanish term or phrase: Tecnificación en altura para profesionales del deporte
Hello,
This phrase appears in a brochure about services that a hotel offers. Any ideas what it means?
Thanks.

English translation:altitude training for professional sportspeople
Explanation:
Hi A,

According to the CSD:

Se denomina globalmente Tecnificación Deportiva a los diversos pasos que se dan a través del perfeccionamiento deportivo, desde la detección de un talento deportivo hasta su llegada al Alto Nivel
http://www.csd.mec.es/csd/competicion/03tecnificacionDeporti...

However, I think it's a bit out of place here.

Is your hotel in the mountains? If so, I think it simply means what I suggested above.

Good luck!

Also "high altitude training" or "training at altitude" - I honestly think any of these will do. :O) :O)

You'll also find a variety of "professional sportspersons", "professional sportsmen and women" etc.
