Spanish term or phrase: desafío vs. reto
CONTEXT: "Este desafío técnico y físico pondrá a prueba vuestra resistencia. Debéis tomároslo como un reto o como una oportunidad de superación personal"

I'm looking for a nice way to translate these terms without repeating the word 'challenge' twice in English.

Any ideas? TIA.

challenge, test

Explanation:
¡Esto sí que fue un desafío! Lindo rompecabezas. Abajo va mi intento, que usa el refraseo. En principio hubiera dicho '...will put your endurance to the test' pero quería usar 'test' más adelante para traducir 'reto'. De ahí, la locución '...will take the measure of your endurance'.
¡Espero que estos garabatos te sean útiles!

Example sentence(s):
  • This technical and physical challenge will take the measure of your endurance. Think of it as a personal test and an opportunity to exceed your own expectations.
