GRAVEDAD

English translation: seriousness/Degree

Tech/Engineering
Spanish term or phrase: GRAVEDAD
The seriousness of the damage is conditioned principally by the danger involved in an accident (Pe), by the intrinsic product risk (Rmp) and by the vulnerability (V) of the environmental medium in which the accident occurs. These three variables are expressed in accordance with the following formula for seriousness.............

The original Sp word was GRAVEDAD. I don't like seriousness (gravity is NOT acceptable, before anyone proposes it!) and I can't refer to risk becuase you can see it is used subsequently. Any alternatives?

The context is hazardous goods transportation
ailish
English translation:seriousness/Degree
Explanation:
Why not seriousness? and what about "degree of damage"?

Just a suggestion. Good luck!
