COMBURANT Explanation: Comburant is not the same as combustible. Combustible material can burn. For instance gasoline is combustible because it can easily catch fire. On the other hand comburants allow or increase combustion of combustible material. Air is a comburant (Oxygen) you cannot burn a sheet of paper (combustible) in the abscence of air (comburant). Oxygen is also an oxidizing agent (agente oxidante) |
