Spanish term or phrase: URGENT - embutadora
Hi Proz,
I really urgently need to know the translation of this word, can't find it anywhere!! Help!! It is a translation about a factory that makes upholstery fabrics, this is one of the processes that they use - embutadora. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I agree it should be "embutidora"
Explanation:
However, with regards to fabric, all I can tell you is:
embutido : an old taffeta weave. Also: lacework, damascene. The idea is to incrust a bright design on a matte background, or one material into another.

guess it's "embutidora"

Explanation:
no entry at all for "embutadora" on the spanish web
so it must be "swage" or "former"
hope it helps

Batter [stuffing, cushioning]...

Explanation:
Looks like a 'trade-slang word' for 'embutidora' -not embutadora-
My try: -Maquina de rellenar, acolchar, tapizar.-
Batt:
Pieces of fabric used for stuffing; batting.
Hope it helps.
Luck!

quilting

Explanation:
this an educated guess. "Embutits" are sausages in Catalan. Sausages get stuffed. When upholstery is stuffed it is referred to as being quilted.
As this is the process I would use the ***ING form.

Hope this helps
