MAXIMUM SLOPE [OR PURCHASE] ANGLE?? Explanation: For the term "talud", the Beigbeder Politécnico gives numerous uses, including in construction ["purchase" en el caso de un muro, etc.]but almost all mention the term "slope". Would slope not perhaps be the right word?....and your text does say "maximum angle". Hope this helps:-) tb. Above |

maximum angle of slope/embankment Explanation: slope in general and embankment for roads and highways. There is no reason to suppose these cannot be used in reinforced concrete. |

maximun angle of slope Explanation: I wouldn´t use "embankment" (in Spanish: terraplén) since "slope" is part of an "embankment". I work in a Roads Construction Company, and the texts in English I usually translate into Spanish use the term "slope" to refer to "talud". Hope it helps! :) own experience |
