Spanish term or phrase: cortante de agotamiento
The text deals with construction using reinforced concrete. The phrase to be translated is as above. "Cortante" alone is "shear" and it appears also as "fuerza cortante" which is "shear force", but I don't know the technical term for "cortante de agotamiento".
Shear force exhaustion
There seems to be an ellipsis of "esfuerzo" in this phrase, but I have found the equations identical.
The concept is equal to Vu(x) in the equations:
Vu1 = ESFUERZO CORTANTE DE AGOTAMIENTO POR COMPRESION OBLICUA EN EL ALMA;
Vu2 = ESFUERZO CORTANTE DE AGOTAMIENTO POR TRACCION EN EL ALMA.
