Spanish term or phrase: isletas...desmoldeo...moyús
Context: a foundry whose management fill out forms analysing defects in cast pieces.

One such defect occurs when the core pins (machos) on the gate (entrada) or entry side of the mold erode. The result is a bad looking casting bearing distortions caused by seizing when the piece is ejected. The action recommended to remedy this problem is "poner ISLETAS en la entrada frente al macho."

Another defect: the casting comes out with the wrong planeness due to contraction during cooling. (Can you say it's out of plane?) The proposed remedy is "solicitar más DESMOLDEO y más radios en todos los MOYÚS." How would you translate this phrase?

Looking at the terminology problem analytically, it would seem that the parts to be added on the gate or entry side opposite the core pins -- in order to compensate for the length of the pins that is missing due to erosion -- would consist of isolated or individual bosses, lands, or seats.

The out-of-plane condition could be described more smoothly as "defective (or "insufficient") planarity," or simply "planar distortion."

The solution would consist of "requiring (the use of) more mold-release agent, and larger radii in all of the molds."

Here I'm stepping out onto a small limb, inferring that "moyus" is a phonetic misspelling of "mohos," which itself is a mistake in the Spanish. The word "mohos" does mean "mould" -- but the botanical kind, not the industrial-mechanical type (which, of course, is "molde" or "matriz").

Explanation:
"isletas" in the context you present would be "fairings" to prevent the piece from hitting the pins.

I think that "out of plane distortions" fits here.

"Desmoldeo" seems to imply "higher clearance when the mold is pulled apart" so,
"...provide more clearance when the mold is pulled apart, and bigger radii in all corners."
