It seems to me that this particular machine does not allow you to retrace the cut path...I am not sure about your choice of the word loop here. A textile is made of fibers, so in my humble opinion, I think it is saying that it does not handle fibers that cause retracing of the cut path
Does this sound possible or am I completely off base here?

Marker nesting for subsequent machine cutting of pieces. All fabric types (knitted, woven, etc.) and leather. Nesting is the term used in the industry for fitting the marker (pattern shapes) to the fabric in order to minimise waste, and according to certain criteria.

Are you talking about ... a computerized sewing program?? It sounds as if you're talking about the machine not sewing down loops which would result in recovering the cloth's flat surfaces (with skeins of loops) ... ?? or?? what kind of 'nesting'?
