Spanish term or phrase:camiseta precio
Hello, I am translating a list of clothes of a Spanish clothing company.
One of the products: camiseta precio.
What does "precio" mean? I don't think it has anything to do with the price (the list does not contain prices). It is supposed to be a description of a product.
Explanation: I agree with Edward that this basically means the items are 'cheap', but I don't think that in English you would use 'cheap', you'd have to get round it, the way people say 'affordable' instead of cheap.
My original thought was along the lines of 'basic'. I've checked the Zara UK site and they have a 'basic' range of t-shirts, but if you look at them they don't all seem to be basic in design and are not all cheap! I am not sure what the criteria is for this range!
But 'basic' might work for you if the items you are translating are cheap because they are simple in design.
Otherwise, if you translate the jeans on the Bershka site to English by clicking the button at the bottom, they call them 'straight best price jeans'. It's the same on the British Bershka site. 'Best-price' sounds a bit more exclusive than 'cheap'. Or you could go with 'special-price' but that might sound like they're on sale.

Explanation: Really it should be "camiseta de precio". I don't think it refers to a specific price, but rather that the product is good value for money, the cheapest the company offers etc.

The web page's translation to "best price" is a bit suspect, as it sounds a little like the description of supermarket product. Better to go with "low cost" or "best value" IMO.
