Marketing - Tourism & Travel / Beach rental equipment | | Spanish term or phrase: náuticos | Apparently it's another name for "bicicletas" (French: pédalos), pedal-driven boats that are rented on European beaches. I've seen the French term (pedalos) used, both with and without the accent on the "e", in a lot of English-language web sites. Again, I'd appreciate the most widely used terms both in the U.S. and the U.K.

| Grading comment Although all 3 are used (pedalos, paddle boats and pedal boats) I finally settled on this answer, since "paddleboat", like someone mentioned, brings Mississippi steamboats to mind - also, this answer's the winner both in terms of the number of agrees and Google hits (if you discard the terms "steamboat" and "Mississippi" from a "paddleboat" search)
