El festival celebra su quinta edición consolidado como uno de los más fuertes eventos de su género.

If it was fifth "year", I'd be comfortable saying fifth "solid" year but not quite sure with 'edición". Thanks!

You could use it as a verb or adjective, e.g. "has established its position as" or "is now established as" etc. But given the difficulty with "edición" in English, I think you should make sure that it really is the fifth year and use that.
