Spanish term or phrase: Hoteles con Encanto
This is a category of hotels that have a certain charm, i.e. built in historic buildings, etc.
They are not necessarily luxurious, just unique.

Is there a special term for this in English (UK)?
Thanks in advance!

hotels with character
Explanation:
I have translated over 120,000 words on different types of lodging for an official tourism website in Spain. We were given specific instructions to avoid the "charming" wording for "con encanto" and told to use "with character". I really think that better fits your case.

Copper-trimmed granite facades exceed the budget of most contemporary hoteliers. Which is why historic buildings make superb hotels with character. One of the latest, the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel, revamps a 1906 office tower.

distinctive hotels

Explanation:
If you don't like charming, which could have the connotation of quaint, how about distinctive?

Hotels with Charm

Explanation:
If this is a category of hotel as a heading in an article and not just a value judgement on a specific hotel, this formulation may fit better... It depends on the tone of the piece, whether formal and upmarket, or popular and journalistic... If popular and journalistic, then 'Charming Hotels' wd work fine too.. Just a suggestion.
