I understand from the context, although obscure to say the least, is that the cats could be enticed to leave their dens and come out into the open to be observed.

agree  Antony Price: Yes, if the safari is simply for observing wildlife, then observing may be closer to the sense of desalojar than flush out. Entice and flush out both suggest something is done so that the animals appear in the open.
