I have tried to hold off asking this one but here goes.

La caza en mano es aquélla practicada por varios cazadores conjuntamente, abiertos en ala y a una distancia aproximadamente equidistante, generalmente ayudados por perros, con el objeto de batir el campo.

Cada mano se compone comúnmente de una partida de entre 2 y cuatro cazadores.

In this second paragraph what does it mean by "cada mano"?

En la caza en mano, conozca la situación de sus compañeros. Precaución con otras cuadrillas que se crucen con nosotros.
Extreme la precaución en las zonas de monte o vegetación espesa. Piense en su perro o en los de sus compañeros a la hora de disparar. No lo haga si no está convencido de que los disparos no los alcanzarán.

Explanation:
...implying 5 people making up the team (... just like the fingers in a hand)

cada mano = each hand. In this context it means "each team of five"
The other word that comes in mind is "a handful of" but I am not sure this term can be used in this context.

17. f. En la caza, cada una de las vueltas que dan los cazadores reconociendo un sitio para buscarla.

"Each scouting of the area" here might be a possibility.
