Explanation:
ie, when most the ski lifts close down, although a few may remain open for the summer visitors. In fact, it's highly likely that they ALL close at this time for maintenance, before the few open fot the summer.
Judging by the dates, this cd be the Sierra Nevada? I had a wonderful year very nearby... Or, could of course be anywhere in Europe
