Una ampliación que no se detiene

Las obras de ampliación, mejoramiento y mantenimiento de la infraestructura del Aeropuerto Internacional XXX continuaron durante el 2006. Los principales proyectos ejecutados por YYY en dicho año fueron los siguientes:

- *En el lado aire* se amplió la zona de parqueo de aeronaves y se ejecutaron las obras de implementación del centro de carga. Asimismo, se construyeron depósitos de material aeronáutico (DMA) y talleres y se realizaron trabajos de mantenimiento de pistas y calles de rodaje, señalización, paisajismo, irrigación y control de FOD.

- En el terminal se completaron las escaleras sur y se realizaron trabajos en el puente San Francisco, que conectará al hotel con el aeropuerto. Asimismo, se completaron las obras de refuerzo sísmico en la torre central y se iniciaron operaciones en las instalaciones concluidas en la mezanine norte y centro.
