De hecho, justo al principio del camino, quedan a la izquierda de los paseantes unos viejos alpendres de animales reconvertidos actualmente en restaurante y donde una antigua trilladora, es ahora elemento decorativo.
It is a tourist guide, here it is describing a boulevard in the city. I have found a definition "Especie de baranda" for alpendres but not sure if in this context it works.
I was thinking maybe some sort of animal skin? but i don't know if i am completely lost!
