Explanation:
Encochar comes up a lot as a word related to getting into taxis, but in the case of buses, I think it's more appropriate to say 'board.'

agree  Anne Smith Campbell: I like "board", it follows the meaning of "encochar", I would maybe add "board the bus/coach" and maybe skip the "begin the", just simply "and return to the hotel"... In any case I think "board" fits very well with "encochar"!

I found this text from Barcelona with "encochar" where it refers to catching a taxi ...

lo que no podeis pretender es que el taxi os cueste lo mismo que el bus o el metro,que se financia en parte por la generalitat,que es quien aprueba las partidas presupuestarias para dicho transporte,que a su vez pagamos todos con nuestros impuestos,el taxi es financiado unica y exclusivamente por el taxista,y si hay taxistas maleducados,tambien hay clientes que ni te dan un buenos dias,o no controlan a sus hijos dando pataditas o dejando sus lindas manos marcadas en los cristales,o te dejan los huesos de la manzana que se iban comiendo,eso sin mencionar el que va mas bebido de la cuenta y te vomita en el coche.
Por cierto en la estacion de sants yo me he tirado mas de 30min ***haciendo cola para encochar***,y luego para que te lleven a la plaza españa,sin ese suplemento se traduce a 3e,si llega,por lo que no te estrañe si no ves taxis alli segun a que hora,lo que es seguro que a mi no me ven mas por alli
