Those are the most usual expressions used by the english speaking real estate brokers here in the Costa del Sol, and also how I usually translate the required term.
"Beachfront" being "primera línea de playa", of course.

Thanks, as fkirton said, I don't think this is to be taken too literally. I went with "just behind the beachfront" (so it is not just one block, but an undetermined number of blocks).

second-line property

Explanation:
having disagreed with Juliana's response, I feel the least I could do is to make an attempt of my own - doubtless to be shot down likewise!

If this is talking about property (I think it usually is), then this is the term I have usually seen bandied about.

However, the ST seems a bit odd here. What exactly uis bing "revitalised" here? OK, it's the campaign, not the properties, but this is badly expressed, no?

I think I'd end up with something resembling:

(...) the campaign for the second-line property market..

By the way, "second-line" always implies 2nd row back from the beach or whatever is the object of the holidaymakers at that particular resort (golf, etc). If it's a seaside resort, then there's no need to specify "the beach"

-> thanks Andy, but where on that site is "second line of the beach"? It sounds odd to me, as if the beach has 2 lines...;)

agree  Juliana Starkman: I like the second-line idea much better than mine, but maybe "second-line beach properties"?

-> thanks Juliana! I think it's rather awkward, but it's very commonly used. Perhaps I should have posted some refs.

agree  David Brown: There are frontline beach and second line beach apartments

-> thanks David. I certainly would mention beach if this wasn't already obvious from the context (eg, a seaside resort), especially if trying to sell the properties.

the area two blocks from XXX Beach

Explanation:
Assuming that "la playa de XXX" is the name of the beach.

Promote the area 2 blocks from XXX Beach, separating it from the summer campaign.

Instead of area, you could use properties, apartments,,, whatever fits in with the rest of the document.

agree  Carol Gullidge: Hi Miguel! But wouldn't that be "First/Next line after beachfront", the beachside properties being "Front Line" properties, and the next being "2nd-line", etc?... But "just behind beachfront is OK"/ Front-line is what they usually call those on the front
44 mins
-> Hi Carol, thanks for the agree. You may be right, but this concoction "primera línea de playa" is so usual in this area that I simply used the terms you see in the real estate brokers prospects..it's "on the beach" and "near the beach", that's what it is.

second line from the beach

Explanation:
“Second line" would seem to be generally accepted as the best translation for “2ª linea” - though I’m never quite sure why I can’t find any references to “second line” in Brighton or Blackpool, so the problem would seem to be the proposition. May I suggest “from”?
One of those perpetually tricky ones!

Your going to the same one as me, it's the original one, or the old one, however it was built in 2002 I believe? so not really that old. Yes it is on the second line of the beach so it does not sit on the beach but as you rightly said the two hotels in front are sister hotels and do sit on their own beach and you are welcome in both, however at the Aladdin you are also allowed to use your all inclusive at the beach bar and snack bar and the loungers as well. There is no charge, I have read that if you can not find any vacant the attendent will sort it for you, (possibly via a tip I guess.)"

This is taken from a UK website and the two people discussing this are evidently English (though their punctuation is a bit rough).

Referring to hotels in Egypt.

"Shocked" ??? I wouldn't base the translation of a Service Level Agreement on a blog, but the important point here is that these are two native English speakers discussing their holidays on a UK website and they use this expression quite naturally. (I very much doubt they're mentally translating from Spanish as they write). Doubtless it's full of spelling, grammar, punctuation mistakes etc...but that is most definitely NOT the point.

hotel details
PrimalSol Titanic Resort & Aqua Park is located in Hurghada on the second line of the beach in front of the sister properties Ali Baba Palace, Aladdin Beach and Jasmine Village. Only 8 km south of the airport and 17 km from the centre of Hurghada. Dana beach is approximately seven minutes drive from the beach. There is a beach shuttle bus that goes to the beach every 15 minutes. There is Disco on sight at the hotel, that is open until early hrs of the morning.
